Taking Care of Business
(TCB) is a convenient, personalized daily money management service that will provide you
with greater independence and accuracy in managing the details of your personal
finances.
A TCB professional will come to your home or office on a regular
or “as needed” basis. Our rates are reasonable and all information is kept
strictly confidential. However, upon request, we will be happy to work with your
family or your medical, legal and financial advisors. We can also provide
referrals to legal, tax and financial professionals if needed.
In addition to filling your special request,
TCB
can provide the following services:
- Budget counseling.
- Organization and maintenance of financial records and
tax documents.
- Reconciliation of bank statements.
- Preparation and delivery of bank deposits.
- Preparation of checks and bills for payment.
- Organization and filing of paperwork
- Filing, follow up and resolution of insurance and
medical claims.
- Follow up of problems with bills or insurance.

Lisa M. Berlin, President of TCB, is a graduate of Leadership
Howard County and a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers,
Coalition of Geriatric Services, National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC), Women’s Giving
Circle of Howard County. She has
served as past chair of Howard County Advisory Board of Family and Children’s Services of
Central Maryland and chaired its Elder Services Committee.
Ms. Berlin holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
degree from Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland and a B.A. in French Language
and Literature from Franklin and Marshall College. She has worked in the
international banking field, and has extensive experience in business
management. She is a Certified Professional Daily Money Manager.
